Dr. Thaddeus J. Godish

Dr. Thaddeus J. Godish, a consultant with HML, Inc. (Hoosier Microbiological Laboratory), holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in agriculture and biological sciences, and a Master of Science (M.S.) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in plant pathology, all from Pennsylvania State University.

A certified Industrial Hygienist by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene, he has done additional study in air pollution at Argonne (IL) National Laboratory, Purdue University, and at the USEPA Air Pollution Training Institute, Research Triangle Park, NC.

His publications include Sick Buildings: Definition, Diagnosis and Mitigation; Residential Formaldehyde: Sources, Levels and Health Effects; HVAC System Materials as a Potential Source of Contaminants in a School Building and Air Quality, 2nd ed.

A member of the Air Pollution Control Association, Dr. Godish also belongs to the National Environmental Health Association, American Industrial Hygiene Association, the International Association Indoor Quality and Climate, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Indiana Academy of Science and the Society of Sigma Xi.
